Glossary
Channel | A communication channel used to contact a Contact. This can be an e-mail, an SMS or a letter. |
Company | An entity using Complero's services. This can be a brand or a Company as a whole. It is possible to manage multiple Companies, each with its own API key. |
Confirm | A Confirm event occurs when a Contact confirms their data in the Web App without making any changes. |
Consent | A consent that Complero is asking a Contact in the name of a Company. E.g. advertisement consents, but it does not have to be limited to advertisement and can be anything that required an opt-in or agreement of some sort. |
Contact | A consumer receiving a Complero update Request. Is part of a CRM or customer-database of a Company. Can be a customer of a Company, but does not have to be. Can also be a prospect of an Employee of the Company. It's just someone who receives an Update Request. |
Create | A Create Event occurs when a Contact is created for the first time by a data transfer. |
Customer | A customer is a firm buying the Complero service. It can have multiple Companies that it operates. |
Customer Success Manager | A Customer Success Manager is available to the Customer throughout the entire value creation process. |
Employee | An Employee of a Company who is managing multiple Contacts and will be used in Request as the sending person exchanging contact information. |
Operation | The monitorable process of uploading Contact or Employee data to Complero. |
Request | A mechanism to ask a Contact to check and update his contact information via Complero. A Request is a conceptional element. It represents the intent to ask the to perform an update at that point in time. It can be delivered over any Channel. The source of a Request can be manual, a time triggered or AI triggered. |
Sync | A Sync event occurs when an existing Contact is transferred again. As a Create event already exists for this Contact, it is recorded as a synchronisation and the data is updated. |
Update | An Update event occurs when a Contact modifies or adds new Contact information. |
Verification | A process where a Contact has to verify their identity before being allowed to see data on the Web App. |
